The Kangaroo Rumor!

As you probably know, rumors in AJ spread like wildfire. Well recently there have been sghtings of kangaroos! Now I know that a TON of rumors have spread around AJ about this. Well, I emailed AJHQ inquiring about this. Here's what they said:

 

Hello Jammer,

Did you hear an exciting rumor? Well, here's the scoop!

Once in awhile, Animal Jam likes to release new items as we are always coming up with wild ideas.

We are happy to announce there is a new animal coming to Jamaa! The newest Animal Jam gift card featuring the Kangaroo has been released in Australia, and it will soon make its way to players around the globe. But for now, these gift cards can only be found in select retailers throughout Australia.

Keep your eye out for more information in the weeks to come!

I'm sure this kills a lot of the rumors I have heard, and just to make it clear: Kangaroos cards are only for sale currently in Australia.
 Well, for now at least. :D Thanks for listening, and congratulations to HAPPYSEAL5555 and Scarlotta for being (I think) the first to ever play Animal Jam as kangaroos!

The "Break the Ice" rumor

​A lot of (rather annoying) people lately have been saying that if you jump on the ice in Mt. Shiveer, it will break and take you to a secret room or give you a special rare. There are 3 methods that have been said to work:

-get 10 seals to break it

-get wolves only to break it

-get only penguins to break it

These methods have been tried over and over, but contrary to popular belief, they have NEVER worked. "Breaking the ice" won't take you anywhere or give you any rare, no matter how many seals or wolves or whatever you get to jump on the sign. It doesn't work.



​The "Break the Bridge" rumor

​Another almost as popular rumor is the "Break the Bridge in Coral Canyons" rumor. This one is pretty much the same as the ice one, except people lately have been saying that you have to get your heaviest animal (elephant) and jump. It (according to idiots) leads you to a secret room and has a shop full of non member rares. This one doesn't work either. It just makes a bunch of cracks and falling rocks. If everyone on the bridge is jumping, eagles come flying out, and it's pretty cool. It just doesn't break. 



The Phantoms rumor

​I think that the least known rumor is this one. Supposedly, if you go to Lost Temple of Zios and sleep, phantoms come out. This one IS true. However, there is another part to this rumor. They say that if you get a certain number of animals to sleep by the sunken statue, a giant phantom will come out and float around. THIS RUMOR ISN'T TRUE. Sorry. That would be cool though....



Secrets!



The Campfire Secret

​This one is fun. If you go to Sarepia Forest and dance around the campfire, something REALLY cool happens. You wanna know what?

Mira comes out of the fire!

​I know, AWESOME, huh?!?!?! She shows up in the form of smoke and she flaps her wings. I like to think that she is smiling. 



The Bridge Secret

​Like I mentioned earlier, when you jump on the bridge in Coral Canyons, it sorta cracks and things. Though it doesn't break, but it may be fun to think so. The rocks fall and eagles come out if everyone on the bridge jumps at once. 



The Ice Secret

​If you go to Mt. Shiveer or the Penguin party and jump (or stand) on the ice, cracks form! It doesn't break either, but it's easy to see where that rumor came from. 



The Phantom Secret

​Go to the Lost Temple of Zios. Get 2-7 animals to sleep next to the sunken Zios statue. What appears? Why the phantoms, of course! (This one is my personal favorite. It gives Jamaa an air of mystery.)



The Club Geoz Secret

​Go into Club Geoz (or the play wild party) and get a bunch of animals. When you get in there, go on the dance floor and dance. It lights up!



The Jam Session Party Secret

​This one is pretty much just like the Club Geoz secret, but it requires a lot more animals to do. You go up on the stage and dance and get other to dance. The lights get all colorful and there's a fire explosion thingy. If all animals on stage are dancing, the lights move around and it looks really awesome.



The Cake Secrets

​This one took me FOREVER to find out. Now, listen carefully.

1st Birthday Cake (chocolate)- 

Click the flame at the top of the cake. When you do, it will explode in flames and stuff. 

2nd Birthday Cake (the big blue and white one)-

Click the 4th frosting swirl over to the right on the bottom layer. When you do, it shrinks and throws confetti!

 

The Bunny Party Secret

At the bunny party, there is a big drum at the bottom of the room. When 3 bunnies hop on it, it lights up. When 5 bunnies hop, you can see Peck hopping around in the holes in the background! When 10 bunnies hop, 4 bunny statues come up and they light up too! I like this one. It's really cool and fun, and it's the most common alpha sighting in Jamaa (besides in the beginning of your journey when you meet Liza.)
